Our Dog: an introduction

This is our Dog. He has papers that say his full legal name is Sir Remington Rio. Sometimes for fun I simply call him Sir. We have conversations that go like this:

Me: You barked, Sir?

Him: [Quizzical look]

Me: Perhaps some food is in order, Sir?

Him: *Whimper* [cocked head]

Me: Some kibble, perhaps?

Him: Arf!

Me: Very good, sir.


Later:

Him: *Whimper*

Me: Yes, Sir?

Him: [Adorable look.]

Me: Perhaps a walk, then?

Him: [Cocked ears.]

Me: Shall I bring the leash around, Sir?

Him: [sound of scampering nails destroying hardwood floor]

Me: Very good, Sir.
